Future pedestrian plaza and bicycle parking, 37th Road. This appendage of 37th Road between Broadway and Roosevelt Avenue was closed to vehicular traffic last week to make way for a new pedestrian plaza. This is in addition to the future plaza on 37th Road between Broadway and 74th Street. An existing traffic triangle (to the left of the taxi above) will offer sheltered bicycle parking, according to the department of transportation’s website.
